Shelter Find is an iPhone application that users in the City of New York can use to report a Homeless Person they find. The application allows the user the ability to enter basic information about homeless person they have contacted. This data is checked for duplicates and sent on to the local government and mapped using Google maps. This data is provides information about the Homeless and provides an overall city map that can track and monitor each homeless person being interviewed throughout the city and facilitate quick placement into available shelter.
The application can capture the following information about the homeless person:
1. Name
2. Location (Latitude & Longitude)
3. Dial 311
